Repentance

The word repentance in the Bible literally means “the act of changing one’s mind.” True biblical repentance goes beyond remorse, regret, or feeling bad about one’s sin. It involves more than merely turning away from sin. Eerdmans Bible Dictionary includes this definition of repentance: “In its fullest sense it is a term for a complete change of orientation involving a judgment upon the past and a deliberate redirection for the future.”.

Complete turnaround inspired from within the heart and will of the individual.

The theme of repentance continues in the New Testament, beginning with John the Baptist (Matthew 3:2) and then Jesus Christ (Matthew 4:17); both urgently called people to repent because the arrival of the Kingdom of God was at hand. Many chose this radical reorientation of their lives and demonstrated repentance through baptism (Mark 1:4) and profound changes in lifestyle and relationships (Luke 3:8–14).

Three Greek words used in the New Testament help us understand the full meaning of repentance in the Bible. The first is the verb metamelomai, which denotes a change of mind that produces regret or even remorse for wrongs done, but not necessarily a change of heart and action. This word is used in Matthew 27:3 to describe the guilt Judas felt over betraying Jesus.

The second verb, metanoeo, means “to change one’s mind and purpose, as the result of after knowledge.” This verb and its related noun, metanoia, denote true biblical repentance, which is characterized by four elements:

1) True repentance involves a sense of awareness of one’s own guilt, sinfulness, and helplessness (Psalm 51:4–10109:21–22).

2) True repentance apprehends or takes hold of God’s mercy in Jesus Christ (Psalm 51:1130:4).

3) True repentance means a change of attitude and action regarding sin. Hatred of sin turns the repentant person away from his or her sin to God (Psalm 119:128Job 42:5–62 Corinthians 7:10).

4) True repentance results in a radical and persistent pursuit of holy living, walking with God in obedience to His commands (2 Timothy 2:19–221 Peter 1:16).

The focus of Jesus Christ’s mission was to call sinners to repentance: “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32). His call of absolute surrender goes out to all people: “But unless you repent, you too will all perish.” (Luke 13:5). In His farewell to the disciples, Jesus commanded that they take His message of repentance and faith to all the nations (Luke 24:47).

Repentance in the Bible involves a complete change of heart and mind, leading to different actions (Acts 26:20). Repentance recognizes that our sin is offensive to God. To repent is to make an about-face, a heart-directed turn away from self to God. Repentance sets us on a new trajectory, away from the past toward a future ruled by God’s commands. Repentance acknowledges that the Lord reigns supreme over our existence.

The truth about the Large road and the Narrow way.

Whatever your journey began in this earth, your roots , family, religion, you need to know that you are on earth to find God your creator and Father , and you need to be serious about YOUR life after death.

Nobody will live an eternal life on earth. So those things of earth will fade and only the truth will remain forever.

God had put in the heart of men , a desire of eternity.

Nobody had been created for  destruction, or death .... Only those who had been in rebellion towards God had received a final condamnation of destruction in the Fire .

But God in his infinite Mercy had shown us the only Way that lead us to Him and to His Heavenly Kingdom.

And because He is the King His authority and rules must be honored by anybody who wants to enter in One day ... Does it make sense to you ?

*********************

Can you enter in the Castle of a King and do whatever you want ? The guardians will surely  pull you out of there, because you will bring TROUBLES in a peaceful and joyful place full of harmony. So obviously , you will have to follow the rules , the commandments, the patterns that the King impose.

Remember that Satan had been casted out of heaven with the rebellious angels, because he came with troubles . Why ? Because sin was found in him, and he chose to do whatever he wanted... Pride.

Heaven is a place that reflects God , the same way that your life must reflect God. Anything that comes to shift this atmosphere should be cast away.

Two Kings cannot rule in the same kingdom.

Satan had been cast away , and now he had built his kingdom on earth, that is call "the world and its principalites, evil spirits, kings of darkness wich are in heavenlies places but also who has agents in flesh, He is the ruler of this world, the master of all sinners.  We as christians We are living in the world (earth), but we are not from it. We are from above...since we gave our life to Jesus, we are no more called sinners but Righteoust of God. we are no more living in boundage. That means Jesus will always help us to correct our ways and failures.

We are the LIGHT of this world , and the SALT.
Our presence here on the earth maintain lives, but as soon as we will be gone... Chaos and destruction will take place in a glimps of an eye!

What way will you chose ? The LOVE of God or the Kingdom of the world ?

JESUS is the TRUTH , the WAY , the LIFE. Remember that His KINGDOM is Righteousness, Peace , joy in the Spirit of GOD.

Jesus showed the WAY, his rules are in the Holy Scriptures.

This world offers those Three things that are resume like this : The PRIDE, the LUST OF FLESH, LUST OF EYES... " A kind of success, pleasures, that bring your life in an eternal condamnation..."

The Narrow Way is not always easy, Jesus rules are for those who desire a Pure heart, integrity and meackness. Notice , Jesus his not against having money  or he would never blessed Abraham, Joseph, Mardochae......Jesus is not against beauty or success, King David would not build his Castle, or this wonderful temple. So what is being Rich For God ?

What Can the devil give to a man , that God cannot give ? All good and perfect gift is coming from the Father of light !

Now this is the question !?

What is the Narrow Way ?

You need to chose wisely and know the consequences of your choice !
